Autotransplantation

Anatomical Tooth Biomodels

Tooth autotransplantation involves replacing a missing tooth with another viable tooth from within the patient’s own dentition. This procedure holds potential as a viable treatment option not only for children and adolescents but also for adults experiencing tooth loss. Successful autotransplantation relies heavily on meticulous planning and precise execution, ensuring optimal conditions for the transplanted tooth to thrive and endure over the long term.

To aid in this procedure Lyka Smith can provide anatomical tooth models and virtual planning of suitable transplant teeth to the surgical site.

Anatomical Biomodels

It is possible to reduce mechanical damage to the periodontal ligament of the donor tooth at the time of try-in by creating a replica of the donor tooth based on DICOM data obtained from the CT. This is where Lyka Smith can provide their anatomical biomodels to improve surgical outcomes.
