High Tibial Osteotomy Biomodels

Lyka Smith engineers are able to accurately replicate the bone anatomy of the knee joint to enable surgeons to carefully plan their desired HTO correction.

Similar to our other orthopaedic biomodel production processes HTO biomodels are produced in white, hard and sterilisable biocompatible nylon polymers.

The benefit of having robust biomodels sterile in surgery enables surgeons, where needed, to contour or bend fixation plates directly onto the biomodel.

High Tibial Osteotomy Guides

Like our other 3D printed surgical guides, HTO guides are CT/MRI derived.

During a VSP session the surgeon and engineer will plan the osteotomy position, any required offset/rotations of the osteotomised sections and allocate for any fixation requirements.

  • HTO guides can be specifically designed to accommodate for a variety of 3rd party fixation requirements
  • As with our other guided product ranges material choice is surgeon specific, for HTO guides we generally supply either nylon or titanium
